The only negatives, and this is only really noticeable when the two are side by side is that the originals have a bit more of a gloss to them (bearing in mind my original are used and must be around 20 years old if not older)Īlso the originals have a marginal more curved top (dome) to the repro Now dimension & height wise there spot on, even the colors are pretty much identical. The forth option, and the best at the moment if you dont want to buy a used original controllers is to get these buttons.Ĭompared against the original super famicom. Others have used third party SNES styled controllers, but where as those have the colors pretty much on point, the dimensions are a bit off.Īnd the third option (this is where we get the funky colors), is that people have been buying Gameboy DMG buttons and trying to get the same color combination as the SNES (but end up with off greens and yellows)
